The river running in 'full spate' had been rather worrisome for people living close to the bank in Mildenhall after more heavy rainfall at the beginning of February 2014, ten years before the Marlborough Flood, but here only the water meadows flooded and the Kennet was showing signs of coming down from its peak flow here by Midday on 7 February 2014.
