The 3rd of May 2013 was a bright and breezy day ahead of a warm front with the wind picking-up ahead of the rain coming in. Increasingly-strong gusts were forming small areas of billow-waves a few yards/metres across, especially on areas of open water near the far bank of the Old Bedford River. More blue sky is reflected where the river is disturbed, but the water is more reflective where it is sheltered by trees or the n/s bank.
