Here a fresh gust of wind is creating new ripples and wavelets which occupy the top of this image. Where the wind has lifted from the water surface a more-pronounced mature set of billows already set in motion are weakening and losing their identity in the middle distance, where a flat patch of water allows bankside trees and a house to reflect close to a mirror-image of themselves.
