water n.
a colourless, odourless liquid

Yet water, particularly a water surface, has so many wonderful effects which are often taken for granted, or not even noticed, by those whose very existence depends on it in everyday life...

Abingdon from Rye Farm on 14th May 2018

Size: 0.66m x 0.44m  Medium: Oils on canvas

Feb-May 2019

A familiar view of Abingdon to those using Rye Farm Car Park, on a sunny day with a light to moderate east to south-east wind. Buttercups were out in abundance on the meadow after a wet spring (which had lasted up until 3rd of May). Also foliage was plentiful on the trees that year, following the rains (not so in 2019 which has seen several periods of drought).
