The Little Ouse River at Brandon

The Little Ouse River at Brandon

Size: 0.77m x 0.51m  Medium: Oils on canvas

Aug-Sep 2010

A tranquil scene on the Norfolk - West Suffolk border where the peaty Little Ouse river separates these two counties as it flows sluggishly westward to meet its Great Ouse partner.

Small shoals of minnows seemed to like the warm water in the shallows where this photo was taken near sheltering trees.
