I was looking for the 'Source of the Thames' which was supposed to be just north of the A433 Tetbury-Cirencester Road, but perhaps there had been more water abstraction since my 1968 'One-Inch' OS Swindon Map was published?
Luckily there were some puddles nearby, with a couple of Swallows perched on a barbed-wire fence and occasionally 'mating', which I managed to photograph, I hope tactfully, reflected in one such puddle!
